Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"This is a good Thai restaurant in terms of the food flavour, had a variety of starters and mains all had nice taste, the mains portion sizes are on the small size for the curries, I was expecting more for price. The waitresses were patient and understanding as we had a baby with us, only issue was when some of the vegetarians mains came they had egg in it which we had requested whilst ordering to have no egg, they rectified this but did mean people in the group waiting whilst others had their food. Overall the food was good."
"I enjoy eating out a lot and have been to many restaurants and I have to say this is the best Thai restaurant I've been to in the UK. The food is as good as you get in Thailand, in fact it is as good as a Michelin star restaurant that I ate at in Koh Samui. The food is delicious and comes out piping hot. The ambience is excellent and the toilets are clean. This is an excellent Thai restaurant and I highly recommend it."
"The food was delightful and full of flavour; the dining experience was fantastic too. Nicky and her staff took great care of us. Looking forward to coming back soon."
"So good! Very delicious authentic Thai food (I lived in Thailand for 2 years). If you’re vegan, ask for the separate vegan menu. Lots of options, super fresh delicious ingredients. We got a noodle dish, the green curry, a soup and corn fritters and it came to £52 including service, so pretty reasonably priced too. Decor is very atmospheric with beautiful Thai wood carvings. Service was friendly, helpful and attentive with a warm welcome. Will definitely be back!"
"Excellent Thai restaurant in the lovely village of Wimbledon. Great lunch specials. If you’re a tennis fan you’ll enjoy the mementos of tennis greats throughout the restaurant. Red curry pork was rich and tasty as was the brown rice. Note the heart shape of the rice. We’d go back in a heartbeat!"
"Booked a table for a birthday dinner, the staff were very accommodating particularly as we had some restless children with us. The food was very good quality. Had the red curry with egg fried rice and mixed starter. Very tasty and enjoyed by all."
"Thai restaurant which is run by Thai. The curry was yummy. While eating, I suggest pressing and rubbing the meat inside the curry a bit in order to loosen it up, then the meat can absorb more curry and more tasty."
"We came here for Valentines day after making a reservation. The place was packed so we had high hopes based on the reviews. We were seated in time. The atmosphere was pleasant after the rugby team left. My partners cutlery wasn't clean and neither was his wine glass, it had rose in it. Understandably it was busy but these things shouldn't be overlooked. When the food arrived, we found it lacked authentic flavours. The prawn toast was huge but lacked flavour, duck spring rolls were ok, satay sticks were nice, if i compare it to all the Thai restaurants we've eaten at, it doesnt come close. At the very least, I expected the beef massamam curry to be packed with flavour but this was a disappointment. Pina colada and long Island could have been better -It was missing something. Wine was nice. I spent £150 and unfortunately I won't be back."
